Boss's new work for wind ensemble, In Adventu Finalem, received its world premiere by the Dallas Winds under the baton of their artistic director, Jerry Junkin. This season marks Maestro Junkin's 25th anniversary of his distinguished leadership over the nation's leading professional wind band.

The new symphony, just over 50 minutes, is scored for Stage Band, Antiphonal Players, and Organ. The work's impact upon the audience that evening, as Maestro Junkin noted, is one that is "seldom witnessed."
